Radhika Shah 

Co-President, Stanford Angels and Entrepreneurs 
 

Radhika has been a high tech executive and entrepreneur in the information retrieval /security space.  She architected some of the first personalization and online community solutions at Broadvision in the early days of the internet and later moved to business and management roles.  She is passionate about leveraging technology for scalable social impact.  Radhika is currently a Vice President at the Stanford tech innovation community Stanford Angels and Entrepreneurs www.StanfordAandE.com that fosters innovation and entrepreneurship and includes Stanford entrepreneurial students, professors and alumni.
 
Radhika mentors  social and tech entrepreneurs in the US and India and has been deeply engaging  silicon valley with Ashoka Fellows (social entrepreneurs) from around the world via the Ashoka Silicon Valley chapter which she helped cofound and led for the past 2 years. Radhika is one of the founding volunteers of  the mentoring group, RajeevCircle.org (a 400 member tech community in silicon valley founded in Stanford Prof Rajeev Motwani's memory to continue his spirit of helping others without expectations), and a part of the SV Leadership Circle for Action For India – a Delhi based group that helps social entrepreneurs scale.  She was on the Steering Committee for StartX Mentor Labs <http://startx.stanford.edu/mentors>  (Startx is a Stanford student Innovation Accelerator), and has been a mentor, venture advisor & judge at SkyDeck Labs – a U.C. Berkeley and Lawrence Berkeley Labs collaboration for fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. She often participates in panel discussions at Stanford and Berkeley on tech/social entrepreneurship and innovation and has been a judge for the US SBA's Growth Accelerator national competition.  She holds a Masters in Computer Science from Stanford University and an MBA from U.C. Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
