The Fourth Sector Group’s founding team consists of a group of experts with deep backgrounds in entrepreneurship, policy, finance, philanthropy, knowledge management, technology, training, movement building, and law, many of whom have been involved in significant for-benefit development initiatives over the past 25+ years. With support from the Surdna Foundation, the team initially came together after the 2015 Growing the Impact Economy Summit (which was organized by several of its members) to develop a plan for a global platform to scale the fourth sector. Team members include:
